Exploring Tuscany on a self-guided cycling holiday was pure joy. The carefully curated routes took me through vineyards, olive groves, and picturesque towns like Siena and Pienza. I loved being able to stop whenever I wanted to soak in the views or enjoy a cappuccino in a quaint café. The GPS and route notes were spot-on, and the logistics, from luggage transfers to charming accommodations, were seamless. Tuscany’s beauty is best experienced on two wheels, and the freedom to set my own pace made it unforgettable.
We had a fabulous time cycling through Slovenia & Croatia. From the planning stage to the actual ride, help was never far away and there was always a quick solution when things didn't go quite to plan, including delivering a replacement bike when i misjudged the curb on the first day. Kristjan tailored our ride to our interests, for me that was visiting waterfalls, for hubby, that was spending time riding through the Julian Alps. It truly was a memorable holiday and if you like cycling and spectacular scenery this is definitely the holiday for you. Our luggage was transported for us each day, breakfast was included with our accommodation, so all we had to do was ride our bikes and follow the GPS prompts. We chose self guided so we could stop at our leisure.

Unfortunately, my wife got sick on the trip over, and was unable to ride for the first three days. Cycling holidays did such an awesome job at accommodating her from point A to point B without riding and furnishing her with an E bike mid trip instead of a regular bike. Our experience was great. The rides were great and we were very grateful for Kristjan and his company help when we needed it. Would definitely book with this group again

Put Slovenia Alps to Adriatic on your list of "to do" cycling trips. Beyond an amazing trip. We were a group of six that have enjoyed cycling holidays in Europe since 1997. We prefer self guided trips and worked with Lan from Slovenian Cycling Holidays to customize our 8 day trip. We began our trip in magical Lake Bled, climbed the 25 cobbled turns to the Vrsic Pass, drank in the beauty of the Soca Valley, enjoyed world class wine in Brda and swam in the Adriatic in beautiful Piran. The cycling infrastructure in Slovenian is extremely well developed and thought out. A good mix of small and medium sized boutique hotels that provided great breakfasts. Cycling routes, places of interest and dining recommendations were delivered via a well designed App. English is widely spoken and the locals are very friendly and helpful. A good mix of natural beauty, culture and history - WWI.
